Welcome to North West Indiana's Virtual Community. This is an experiment in progress, NightWriter Productions has made a financial commitment that will keep our sites free of commercial banners and pop up ads for at least two years. This means that visitors to our sites should enjoy their experience without annoying distractions. It is our hope that through your support, we will continue to remain ad free. This support will come from Custom Web Design with hosting, and hopefuly community memberships, *NOT* through advertisement banners or those annoying pop-up ads that other on-line services use to generate revenue. We have a goal to educate people on how to use the Internet wisely. You will find tips on how to use your e-mail smartly, our guide will help keep some of that unwanted spam from ever reaching your account, how to avoid most virus attacks, how to manage your accounts, and proper email etiquette. Why would we take the time to do this? Spam, fwd junk mail, bloated content, and viruses slow down and disrupt the internet for everyone. We consider this to be the Cyberspace equivalent to litter-bugging. An educated person is less likely to litter. Making the Internet better is up to you. If you are using ad based software (like gator), AOL or other Internet Service Providers that generate ads, please understand that those are beyond our control. If you are not using any of those and an ad pops up (within our site) please report the intrusive abuse to us and we will unleash the web dogs to hunt them down. Let this be a warning, we will sue anyone posting ads without our permission. Coming Soon Mail Boxes Coming Soon Tired of never being able to get the name you really want for a mailbox? Mail boxes WILL become available for only $10 a year, virus and spam protection included. You will have the choice of using an assortment of our webmail packages or POP mail accounts. Just compare our prices with other email services, you will find that our package is about half the price of most services offering POP accounts without any advertisements or pop ups. Want to become a nw-in.com member? We are considering a premium Membership package. Included with your membership; full use of our members only Bulletin Boards, chat rooms, secure sections for children, teens. We will also throw in a member page* with your choice of picture or graphic along with a page of text and a mailbox. The members only areas are being upgraded and improved, we are fine tuning the features to fit the requests and contributions made by our future members. We will also offer an adults only singles area ($10 fee for age verification and setup your password admission, a one time charge good for as long as your membership account stays active). Compare that to those 3 month plans which are being advertised for $39.95. *Member pages are personal pages only, we will offer an online course to help you with the design process.
